1. moving in: circumstances bring you to a new home/mansion/cabin/apt building and shit is weird. need i say more? ghosts, creepy neighbors, the works

2. exploration: did you really have to come here? was it part of a job? a dare? because you felt like it? well, you're here now and the more you explore the creepier shit gets. hope you can find your way out

3. bunker down: it's the end of the world. or something(s) is stalking the outside and boxing you in. either way, this is your temporary home and you've got to figure out how to survive. bonus, there's shit going on inside as well. oops!

4. a curse: something followed you or a loved one, or someone you fucking hate but feel obligated to help out of the mess you inadvertently got them in. better figure out a way to lift this damn thing, hopefully the cost isn't too high

5. vacation gone bad: you just wanted to relax...oh well.

6. this town is all fucked up: the locals are weird, you hear freaky noises in the streets at night, and sometimes you can hear your neighbors whispering loudly through the walls. what the fuck dude? stopping here for the night/moving in was probably a mistake, huh?

7. am i crazy, or...: sometimes the real horror is your mind. you can't tell if it's all just in your head or if something's up. maybe go to the one person who won't dismiss you for help?
